Lets see here...well last Sunday, Bob, my brother, and I picked up my cousin Joey at the airport. He is from MN. He just turned 15 and now has his permit...wow does that make me feel sooo old. He is the youngest of us cousins, and I remember when he was born...so now I feel like I am super duper old! He came for the week. We had a lot of fun. On Monday, he and I went to the beach and went boogie boarding. He is pretty good for being a MN boy! Of course it rained that evening, so we got a Starbucks and waited for bob to get home for dinner! On Tuesday, all the Joe's went golfing. At night, we all met up for some good Japanese food...yummy!!! Wednesday we went to Blizzard Beach water park. It was just my brother, I , and Joey because poor Bob had to work. We had a blast, and Joey even met some girls...who cracked us up...that is a whole story in itself!!! Lets just say, they weren't exactly the kind of girls you would want to bring home to mom! They were amusing though! Our favorite slide was the toboggan races. It was so funny...my brother would go flying down, and splash water all over Joey. My brother and I would fly past the finish line, and were told Joey we were going to keep going until he was able to make it to the finish line...I think he did the last time we went on. On Thursday, we went to the beach and Boogie Boarded again. Then we went bowling for an hour, and then went out to dinner. Thanks Joey for a fun week...cant wait until you can come back and visit...please convince your mom about getting that water trampoline :)
After Joey left on Friday, Bob and I dropped off Kona at my parents, and headed to St. Petersburg Beach for the weekend. We stayed at a beautiful resort right on the beach. When we got there, they upgraded our room for free, so we had a suite with a little kitchen. It was nice because Holly and Jason were coming the next night. On Friday night, Bob and I ate at a nice seafood restaurant...good thing they had chicken on their menu! We missed the sunset because the food took too long. I did get one little pic of the sunset, but since it was kinda cloudy, it isn't that good anyways. We then walked on the beach and sat there watching the small waves crash. Bob was trying to convince me he could see Texas and Mexico across the gulf...( he is also convinced you can walk to Greenland from Canada...you know...over the Greenland Bridge!!! ) It was nice to just sit and talk...since Bob has started his Masters program, he has been soooo busy. I hardly get to see him, so it was nice to finally relax and not worry about school or work. On Saturday, we woke up and went to the beach. Holly and Jason met us there, and we had fun laying out and playing in the gulf! Jason and Bob went and picked up some pizza hut that we ate on the beach...it was actually really good...( the pizza hut here in Melbourne is gross...I think they cook it differently or something). We then got cleaned up, and went to the Tampa Bay Rays vs The Detroit Tigers Game. Tigers lost..boo hoo! The Rays field is so weird. It is indoors, and it felt like it was made of plastic or something. We were with a bunch of people from Bobs work who Bob, Joe, and Jason also play softball with. It was fun hanging out with them. LL Cool Jay was playing afterwards, but the crowd was crazy, and since we knew he was going to suck anyways...we headed back to the resort for some dinner! On Sunday, we laid out for a while and then went to eat at Crabby Bills...for some reason Bob wanted to eat there so bad. It was alright. We then headed back home to pick up Kona, and discovered that he loves to swim now. He was jumping into my parents pool! It was cute! So, this past week has been pretty eventful...I had a ton of fun this past weekend...I think the four of us should do this more often!
