As all can see who watch tv, we are in the middle of Tropical Storm Fay. At first, they didnt think the storm was going to affect us, and then it started to look like it might just bring us a lot of rain, and now...well to our surprise, the eye of the storm is going to cross right through our backyard pretty much, later tonight. Right now, it is just windy, and we have tornado watches, and one warning...which is kinda scary. This is just a tropical storm, so I wouldnt even want to see what a hurricane would look like. SOme of the gusts so far have been 48, and are expected to be anywhere between 55 and 70 tonight...pretty crazy! Bob and I had off of work today for this, and tomorrow so far, there is no school. I dont know if Bob will have work or not....wow...what a way for the school year to start!! Crazy! I have some video and some pictures of the storm. I am hoping to get some tonight as well...hopefully it will continue to just rain, and we have no tornadoes on our house!!! The picture above is this morning around 10:30am...I want to see the palm tree bend like you see on tv...I guess I will have to wait until tonight to really see a good one!
