Baby Shopping
This morning Bob and I went out to look at cribs. We have been looking at some online, but we want to check the wood and see the actual crib. I had one picked out at Restoration Hardware, but after reading about safety and such online, I decided I needed to get a crib that had slats all the way around. So, we looked at Pottery Barn Kids a while ago, and they do have nice ones, however, most of theirs do not change into a big bed, so, to me, it is kinda pointless. We went to two stores today and found the exact one we wanted. I am not going to give anything away...you will just have to wait and see the nursery when it is all done. We also looked at the Peg Perrego strollers, and although they are nice, and we do like them, we have already read that the safest car seat to get is the chicco key fit, and since I have OCD, and I cant have a stroller that doesnt match the infant seat...well there goes that idea. However, the Chicco stroller has the exact same features, and made of the same material, so it is ok. It was funny watching Bob try out the strollers. We went to Babies R Us to see if they had the chicco, and they did. He was playing around with it, and folded it...well we couldnt get it back open...then he was trying to take out the infant seat from the base, and although I had just done it...he was trying to tell me it was broken and didnt work...I finally gave in and showed him where the latch was. So, I have already registed for the stroller/infant seat in black and gray, but now Bob decided he likes a different color, so we might be changing...I guess I can give in to him in some areas...just as long as it is not Detroit Lions stuff...ha ha! Then we went to look at umbrella strollers, and we looked at the chicco. The way is reclines is with a zipper, so I think we will go with the Maclaren...the cheaper version of it though. The babies r us by us sucks though...so we still couldnt look at swings...anyone have any suggestion where we can go to actually look at these swings? The other thing is bottles, but we have them picked out, we just cant seem to find them not in glass...we want BPA feee, but not glass! So, now that I am super tired...I will be taking a nap...then it is off to Meg O Malleys with the family for dinner.

Dr. Brown's has AWESOME BPA free bottles!!!
In fact, when I had to stop breast feeding at 6 months because Avery decided he didn't want to eat anymore :0( My lactation consultant and pediatrician highly recommended them :0)
It's A LOT of pieces to clean....I think like 6......but it's worth it :0)
baby shopping is so fun.....They always come out with new stuff....I really like their "leafy" print Graco stuff.....It's all different shades of green brown and blue.....SO CUTE!!!
Oh and Target has the cutest swing that had lamb ears on the pillow part......I wish I would've held out for that one :0)
SORRY that last comment was from me!!! I didn't realize that I was posting it under Anthony's acount......"Anthony.......Alyson" it all looks the same to me :0)
I think I already posted this once before, but Babies-R-Us and Target both have the Soothing center (it's a different type of swing that swings from side to side and vibrates). Maddie loved it when we used our friends. We have the Fischer Price Aquarium swing that goes both front to back and side to side. She really liked it.
As for bottles, the Dr. Brown's do have a lot of pieces to clean and we had some issues with them. I really like the Avent bottles.
